General conditions

Last updated: 4 October 2026. These conditions govern the use of www.mymonkeyguide.com and the intermediation of tourism activity bookings offered on the Site.

1. Who we are

2. Nature of the service

MyMonkeyGuide intermediates: it shows information about activities and provides booking channels (embedded calendars, affiliate links or other means indicated on each page). Unless expressly stated otherwise, the contract for the activity is between you and the operator or provider of the experience. MyMonkeyGuide is not the physical provider of the activity and does not organise the tourism service in its own name.

3. Activity page information

“From” prices, durations, meeting points, inclusions and cancellation policies are based on information from operators or booking platforms and may change. Final availability and price are confirmed at booking time in the relevant system (for example FareHarbor). Promotional photos and texts for an activity may belong to the provider and are used to promote that experience.

4. Booking and payment

When you complete a booking through a third-party embed or link, you also accept that operator’s and booking platform’s terms. Payment is normally processed in those systems; MyMonkeyGuide does not store card data. Confirmation is issued by the operator or platform. For questions about an existing booking, contact the channel on your confirmation first or email [email protected] with your reference.

5. Cancellations, changes and claims

Cancellation and refund rules are those of the operator and/or those published on the activity page or in the booking flow. MyMonkeyGuide may help you as intermediary, but refund and change decisions remain with the operator, unless a different legal obligation applies.

6. Use of the Site

The Site is for information and intermediation. It does not require a user account. Fraudulent use, unauthorised mass scraping of content, or any use that infringes MyMonkeyGuide’s or third parties’ rights is prohibited. The contact form is for enquiries; it is not by itself a confirmed booking.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MyMonkeyGuide is not liable for the physical performance of intermediating activities, or for damage arising from the operator’s acts or omissions, force majeure, weather or other causes outside intermediation. This limitation does not affect consumers’ mandatory rights or liability for MyMonkeyGuide’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence in its own intermediation duties.

8. Links and affiliates

Some pages may show marketplace or affiliate links. If you book through those channels, the contract and data processing are governed by that third party’s terms. MyMonkeyGuide may earn commission on bookings attributed to its affiliate channel.

9. Privacy and cookies

Personal data processing and cookies are governed by the Site’s Privacy policy and Cookie policy.

10. Changes, law and jurisdiction

We may update these conditions by publishing the new version on this page. They are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be heard by the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law, without prejudice to consumers’ rights based on residence.
