Guided tour of Lanzarote-North and South of the island
The most comprehensive excursion, where we will gain an in-depth understanding of the island's South and North routes. We will explore the Timanfaya National Park, where we will discover the most remarkable features of this vast natural landscape—a place where only the most resilient animals and plants can survive.
Description
Timanfaya National Park
We will make the majestic Route of the Volcanoes, a lunar landscape among the desolate strewn with solidified lava. Without a doubt, one of the most surprising places in the world, where we will enjoy the landscapes and immortalize this masterpiece of nature
We will make a dream stop at the Camellos de Timanfaya, where a small museum will explain the significance of the camel on the island from ancient times to the present day. We will then continue to Las Salinas de Janubio, Los Hervideros, and El Lago Verde in the Gulf of Lanzarote. This is a remarkable natural spectacle that contrasts the power of the sea with the ruggedness of volcanic rocks; as water flows into cavities of solidified magma, it triggers the eruption of boiling water through the earth's chimneys—a unique natural phenomenon worthy of admiration.
La Geria
We will visit La Geria, renowned for the uniqueness of its volcanic landscape, which is now being utilized for vine cultivation to produce wine. We will then head north, crossing the heart of Lanzarote, where we will see the first monument dedicated to the artist Cesar Manrique: the *Monumento al Campesino*.
We will cross Teguise and also the highest point of the island Las Peñas del Chache. We will go down the mountain to the Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees
The Water Jams
As the final leg of our excursion, we will explore the *Jameos del Agua*, a masterpiece by César Manrique, who transformed an old landfill located in the longest volcanic cave in the world into a consecrated paradise. This serves as the crowning touch to our journey, where we will be captivated by the beauty of this place and the creative vision of the artist.
