Hiking route Taborno - Tenerife
Join us on these two routes, where you'll enjoy STUNNING views while learning about the history of Tenerife in a fun and engaging way! We have experienced guides who will tell you what life was like here before and after the conquest of the Canary Islands.
Description
We offer a themed experience led by professional guides. For approximately three hours, we will enjoy two exceptional trails, discovering a prehistoric natural treasure that, along its designated paths, can be admired in all its splendor. The magical forest of laurisilva—composed primarily of laurels, sanguineas, lichens, and willows, among other less common species such as the vine laurel, the faya, and the wild orange tree—awaits your exploration.
We will study the geology and geological history of Anaga and Tenerife. When the island emerged from the ocean, it first did so along what is now the Anaga Peninsula—a spectacular landscape where we can observe the island's oldest volcanoes.
Our second route will take us to the Rock of Taborno—a colossal stone tower from whose summit the panoramic views unfold with extraordinary beauty, earning it recognition as a World Biosphere Reserve. Along the way, we will explore the history of this region and delve into the culture of the Guanches. We will also enjoy a tasting of local specialties as we progress along our route.
TABORN: BACK TO ROQUE
We will explore Gran Roque. This trail features breathtaking canyons that will repeatedly test our sense of vertigo. Several trails run along the area, each possessing its own unique charm. The scenic offerings along this route
