Shore try dive in Arguineguín (south Gran Canaria): you enter from the coast, not from a boat. A personal instructor walks you through every step with full kit — you breathe, fin and enjoy.

The outing lasts about 2 hours, with 25–30 minutes underwater. You get a safety briefing first, and paperwork at the Scuba Sur office at least 30 minutes before. Groups of 2 per instructor; max 6 on the session.

No license or classroom theory required. From age 10. Everyone must meet the medical questionnaire; a doctor-signed medical statement is required if you’re over 70 or have a relevant condition. Dive-centre insurance is included.
