Via ferrata in Gran Canaria

The via ferratas in this list are in the south and southeast of Gran Canaria, not in the centre of the island. Amor y Odio is around San Agustín and Bahía Feliz. Bocachancla is at Degollada de las Yeguas, towards Fataga. There is also a multi-activity day in Santa Lucía de Tirajana that mixes a ferrata, climbing, a cave and a zip line.

You wear a harness and a helmet, clipped to a cable. You do not need to have climbed for the ones set up as an introduction, but Bocachancla and Amor y Odio are not the same route. The grade and the hours (about three or four) are on the page.

This page compares 4 bookable options. Lowest listed price: €56.60. Meeting points include Degollada de las Yeguas (Fataga), Bahía Feliz and Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The closed price and the meeting point are on each activity page.

The coast or the Fataga ravine

Amor y Odio sits on the San Agustín coast: it fits if you are staying in the south and do not want to drive inland. Bocachancla adds the road towards Fataga and a different landscape, more ravine than promenade. The Santa Lucía one is a combination: if you only want the ferrata, you do not need the one that adds a cave and a zip line.
