Buggy route through northern Lanzarote
Buggy through northern Lanzarote: tarmac and off-road over lava country. About 2 hours guided…
Buggies in Lanzarote leave the tarmac of the north: volcanoes, track and, on one page, the El Cuervo volcano and Las Grietas. Trips last about two or three hours and start in Puerto del Carmen or Costa Teguise, even when the route is in the north.
This is not a hire car. You go in a group, with a guide, on a set route. There is also a ninety-minute quad in the south, from Playa Blanca, which does not climb the northern volcanoes. And a combo that joins a Papagayo jet ski with the buggy: that is two activities, not one.
This page compares 8 bookable options. Lowest listed price: €94.34. Time on the activity runs 1.5 h–3 h. Meeting points include Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise. The closed price and the meeting point are on each activity page.
None of these have a location on the map. Try other filters or look at the list.
If you want the Timanfaya landscape without treating the buggy as a park ticket — a buggy does not replace the park entrance — look at the routes that say north, El Cuervo or Las Grietas. They last two or three hours. The Playa Blanca quad is another area and less time.
Whether you need a licence to drive is on the page. Do not assume it is the same, or absent, on the two-hour and the three-hour trips.
