Guided 5-hour hike in Teno Rural Park: circular route through Monte del Agua, laurel forest and west Tenerife cliffs.
Description
A route in Teno Rural Park on Tenerife’s west coast: ancient geology, cliffs, valleys and ravines, rural architecture and laurel forest. The Monte Verde ecosystem — Monte del Agua — blends microclimates, trade winds and humidity in a forest local people know well.
Circular trail of 10 km, moderate difficulty, between 966 and 1,227 m, about 406 m of ascent/descent and ~4 hours of walking within the 5-hour activity including transfers.
Includes a Spanish-speaking mountain guide, permits, water, poles if needed, Mercedes EQV electric transport with hotel pick-up (north/south) or Santa Cruz port, and insurance. Extra food and drinks are not included.
Comfortable clothes, closed shoes, a light warm layer and sun protection; not recommended for children under 6 per the operator.
